Editorial policy
Clear Streaming Guide aims to make online video easier to understand without overstating what an article can establish. We separate explanation from opinion and make relevant limits visible to readers.
Accuracy and clarity
Writers should check technical terms against reliable documentation and describe the scope of each explanation. Where services, interfaces or standards can change, articles should avoid presenting a temporary detail as a permanent rule. We distinguish general principles from examples and make uncertainty explicit rather than filling gaps with guesses.
Independence and corrections
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity, not to secure favourable coverage. We do not imply access to private platform data or claim hands-on testing unless an article explicitly describes what was tested and how. Readers can report an error through the Contact page; material corrections will be made clearly, with the article updated to remove or clarify the mistake.
Partners and generated illustrations
Paid placements and partner material are labelled where they appear so readers can distinguish them from editorial work. A partnership does not purchase editorial conclusions. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as illustrations rather than documentary images.
A stream is also a designed experience
We look beyond the play button to the choices around it: what a screen shows, what it leaves unclear, and how people make room for watching.
